How do I find the info for donation of part of my liver? I give blood at the Red Cross everytime I'm eligible. Can they tell if I would be a match? I see on facebook that she is really weak. Is it to late for transplant? God bless you all. I found you through Pamala Rose Greendot ad. I have a greendot card.

Hope all went well on your trip to the Mayo Clinic. Sorry we didn't make it to the Prayer Vigil tonight. We planned on going, but then had things come up. So sorry about that. Please remember that ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH GOD WHO STRENGTHENS ME. We went a a graduation party today for a friend who was diagnosed with leukemia on his 3rd birthday. With God's help and LOTS of prayers we can say that Sean is and has been cancer free for over 8 years now. I don't have to tell you that we, along with the Mingo Park Walkers are praying for you, and your family daily, Alicia.God bless you all!

Alicia has been in Children's Hospital for 5 days now and counting. They have her on antibiotics and oxycodone. She has an infection of the bike ducts called Cholangitis. They think something else is wrong and are testing her. Please pray! Thank you!

Dr.Venkat told us at Alicia's last visit that her body needed a break so she does not have to go in for a visit until January. She has been experiencing more bone pain lately and the medicines have been changed so much that it has been affecting her appetite. On a much happier note, Make-A-Wish is granting her wish and we are going to New York City before the end of the year to see Randy Fenoli! He is currently filming the upcoming season for Randy to the Rescue! What a man! We love that guy! :)

Update on Alicia:
They have moved up the meeting date with the transplant team to Monday and Friday of next week instead of October 22. They are out of safe pain medicine options. The liver is too far gone to break down any medicine. I will post updates after next week's visits. Thanks for following her journey!

An update on Alicia:
We are meeting with members of the transplant team on October 22. She is in constant pain, however, she is going to school and only missed for doctors appointments and came home early on Thursday because of extreme dizziness. I think she is awesome! She asked Make-A-Wish to arrange for her to meet Randy Fenoli from the show Say Yes to the Dress! We are hoping he days YES to her request!

We setup this website so that all of Alicia's friends have the opportunity to let her know that they are supporting her in her time of need. We also thought this would be a good way of letting people know when and how to sign up for the blood drive and any other things that are going on to benefit Alicia. We are praying for a speedy recovery.

Dear Rhuby family,

We are deeply saddened by the recent news of Alicia. We had the privilege of living next to Alicia and her family for 2 years. She is such an upbeat and outgoing person. Every time we were outside and Alicia was, she would always run over with a smile on her face to show me her latest dance move and then proceed to challenge me to match it. I always failed trying but it put a smile on her face and she always put a smile on ours! Alicia, we will be there for the blood drive and the car wash. Tim, please don't hesitate to contact us at anytime for anything. You and your family will be in out thoughts and prayers!

Sincerely,

The Carpenter Family
