The 2011 Convergence Committee wrote on August 20th, 2010
We are writing this note to introduce ourselves to you. We are the Committee organising the 11th Southern Hemisphere Felting Convergence 2011 which will be held in Bunbury Western Australia from Sunday 2nd October 2011 to Friday 7th October 2011.

Convergence is a gathering of felt makers and sharing knowledge is the underlying theme. It is 4 full days of immersion and indulgence in every aspect of felt making suitable for all levels of experience. Anyone interested in felt making and textiles should attend, there is no need to belong to a formal textile organisation or felting group.

We are in the process of organising the Convergence and have created a blog http://feltconvergencebunburywa.blogspot.com/ to communicate news on the program as it develops. Our blog is also posting on lots of beautiful felting to whet appetites for things to enjoy in Bunbury in October 2011.

Beautiful blog! I first saw it a year or so ago and watched a video you had posted about the making of traditional mongolian yurts. Can you tell me where I could find that again. We are going to be teaching felting at my daughters school, particularly pertaining to these yurts, and I would love for them to see it!

I, too, would love to know where you found the roller...Looks like a great invention. Thank you for your site. When you have time, please check mine, too...Much simpler than yours, but I love felting, too.

Well this little Aussie is impressed. I am hoping you also may be able to help me. We are looking for the water spray bulbs that everyone uses on your side of the world and we are not able to get them here. If you could put us in contact with someone who sells these, there would be a very happy group of Aussies on the other side of the world. Not an easy thing to find. I will pass on your site for my fellow textilians.
