We lost a good person and one of the best safeties in NFL history in Jack Tatum. I feel fans need to be very unified because the world, the Raiders and our own pockets are dealing with some tough times. We should continue to support this famous club and not give up on them. The NFL, ESPN(Disney) and CBS really have made it hard for Oakland to win as well as the Raiders screwing themselves sometimes. But I wanted to say RaiderNation that the reasons are about mo money! if Oakland continues to lose fans might turn on Al and pressure to sale to a billionaire who will relocate the Raiders and build a new stadium would make the NFL very heppy. This is what my poll is about. Voting to end 11 loss seasons....if the league would stop tampering with Oakland they would start winning. I been watching the RAIDERS since 1968 when they lost the super bowl to the packers. I live in Pennsylvania and HATE everything about the city of Pittsburgh since the screwing we got in 72. Never thought that could be topped until the +uck game in new england. RAIDERS will be back and all the haters can kiss my a**. |

Every science i was a little boy i like watching the raiders for the fans and the team.I thimk at the time Bo Jackson had a lot to do with it to.I still love them and all ways will.Every body has all ways gave me a hard time about it but i could care less what they think. Raider Mando from Fresno, CA. I've been a Raider's fan since the '72 season. Whenever I step out of the house You are sure to see something raider on me, 24/7-365. I' m as die hard a fan as they come. I'm always getting all kinds of smack from other so-called non-Raiders fans, my response-"WIN, LOSE, OR TIE, RAIDERS 'TILL I DIE." And I put them in their place. Albuqueque is filled with die hard raider fans. Every year $400 price of airline ticket, $300.00 for game tickets (have to sit in good seats coming all this way) $300.00 for beer (haha damm good tailgates) being with raiders fans....priceless. seriously everytime I go to Oakland myself and family have been embraced and we appreciate it....You are indeed lucky to live so close to the team I will die loving no matter what thier record is. To Raider Nation, The 2008 season was a disappointment and left a lot of us confused and upset. With the high salaries Al Davis paid out for free agent and veteran stars it looked like the playoffs were a lock. We need to remember why we are Raiders fans in the first place-because they care about their fans and try to win honestly. The Raiders are going through some tough situations and I am going to tell you what’s going on and how RaiderNation can help. Firstly, Al isn’t to blame for a lot of these problems, his staff is veteran and the players are as good as any. The NFL wants the Raiders to relocate by 2010 and under new management. This is one of the major reasons for the loses and strange things going on in this organization. Although the Raiders must be responsible for their actions understand the NFL is working with some powerful forces to take the Raiders from Al and his fans. Whether you believe me or not isn’t important right now, I have evidence but all of us have been zapped by ESPN, NFL Network and FOX to believe whatever the league that is well known to loath Al has to say about him. They only report what the league office wants them to report and aren’t going to report what the NFL is doing to the Raiders. This is my evidence: For the past nine years the NFL has been trying to get Al out of the NFL because he refuses to let them run the Raiders as they do the Patriots and most other teams. The NFL wants a team in Toronto to get the huge revenue from the fans, they feel the Raiders would be perfect for Toronto and if Al is out of the picture so be it. They are doing dirt inside the Raiders’ organization and of course using ESPN to continue to turn even Raiders’ fans against Al, why? So that as the Raiders keep losing attendance will drop, frustrated fans will stop buying tickets. Al, if he won’t sale the club outright, will have to sale more of the Raiders to investors to buy more high priced players. They will, of course keep losing and eventually Al will have to agree to a buyout or takeover of the club by whom? Those three Boston hedge fund managers who bought 20% of the Raiders in ’07 when in reality they were here two years earlier, pushed by the league to buy some of the famous club. Even if Al hangs on the NFL will continue to mess up the Raiders and he will suffer financially. And the reason why teams won’t throw in #21 direction? Because the league wants Nnamdi Asoumgha healthy so the Patriots can have him, just like the NFL set up the Randy Moss trade. Oh, other players will be signed to replace outgoing stars but only to send Al into debt and continue the losing. The NFL is corrupt and controlled by cable/t.v. networks that are afraid to have honest games. The Patriots are on top because they make the NFL money. The Giants/Jet because they have to fill that new stadium-that’s all the so-called parity systems was created for by Paul Tagliabue, to make mediocre teams seem very good so their fans will buy those tickets and their home cities won’t complain about new stadiums being built. Its’ not a Raiders vs. NFL things it’s the NFL is a very greedy and corrupt corporation. That’s my story RaiderNation 2009 is a very important year in Raiders history. The NFL is really hoping the team will be in another city by 2010 and they want us to help them do it by listening to ESPN and lowing attendance at the games. Lowered attendance can give pro teams an escape from clauses and leases to relocate for financial reasons. RaiderNation forget 2008 and focus on keeping the Raiders in Oakland and out of the hands of the league. Make blogs, websites, T-shirts, or anything you can do to get other fans to see what’s going. Contact the NFL front office to let them know we love our team and even send the Raiders morale boosting support letters. This letter is the truth and I hope you will take action. I want Raider Nation to write or fax NFL commissioner Roger Goodell before the Raiders play New Orleans. Its' the league and those 3 investors (20% ownership) behind strange Raiders loses. They want the team to relocate in 2009. These 3 men loaned Al 150 million and if all that talent can't win. Some of us ain't commin to the games anytime soon and the Raiders (under new ownership) can leave because of a loophole regarding attendance (Al is running up debt and the league feels the minority owners would support a force buyout or sale of the club. RaiderNation you got to see something is very wrong. Kiffin is going to be treated like Turner, shanahan and Gruden, he had outstanding potential and thats why the NFL knew he had to go. They want the Raiders out of Oakland and AL out of football and we are going to let them b.s. us into supporting it. Write or Fax Goodell and let him know we support the Raiders and ain't planning to lose the Raiders to some scheme or 3 investors who could care less about Raider Nation.
