Great site Peter, I've used some of the information already, I hope that's OK, but for an old subs install, telephone exchange installation type the technical stuff is a bit much for an old bloke, but the story needs to be told. Congratulations. I bet Telstra's National Communication Museum hasn't got any of the stuff in here. So much for preserving the heritage of the PMG. Telecom, OTC, Telstra and even AWA as I have found out.

Great memories of working all Australian Coast Stations.
They were up there with the best. Completed many trips as Radio Officer around the Australian and NZ coasts in the 70s

Many great memories of hearing the coast stations on MW - 500 kHz - when posted at USCG Guam Radio/NRV 1980-84. Always great sigs and I have lots of QSL cards from them too!
