Our heartfelt condolences to the Heino family. Jed was a compassionate, warm and fun person who shared his love of flying with others. Roger is grateful that he was able to spend time with Jed in September. May the fondest of memories help to give comfort in this difficult time. Rest in peace, Lynda and Jed. Roger and Karen Dibble

We were extremely saddened to hear the loss of our good friend Jed. Jed and my dad Dr. Roepke were very close the last few years. Jen had to come to my dad‘s hundredth birthday in Arizona and we had so much fun. And then he came to his celebration of life in July and it was so good to see him. Jed was one of the most giving caring people that I’ve ever met. We sold our place in Canada but I was hoping to get up there this summer and spend some time with Jed too. Dear family and friends may God bless you and keep you and make his light shine upon you and give you peace. Fly high dear friend!

Our most heartfelt sympathy to the entire Heino family on the passing of Jed. We have known Jed and Lynda since they purchased their property across from our island on the Black Sturgeon. Each summer we looked forward to our visits and hearing about their latest adventures. When our boys were young they would race out of our cabin when they heard their airplane engine start up and wave to them as they flew by. Jed always tipped the wings to wave back. Needless to say, it always made their day! We are thankful for their friendship and will cherish all the memories we have.

We are so very sorry to hear of Jed’s sudden passing. We meet Jed and Lynda and then Jed by himself on many a walk on Coker Rd. Jed and Lynda were always happy to spend time discussing many subjects always with a smile and a laugh. We’ll miss them
both for the friendship they offered. Rest happily Lynda and Jed.

We are so very sorry to hear of the passing of Jed. Got to know he and Linda through the paper mill and also through Donny and Marlene. Such a very nice man - a great loss for the family. But he is once again with Linda - his soulmate.

I posted to this previously, before his obituary was posted. We did not know Jed and Linda long, but It didn't take long to form friendships with them. They shared their wonderful exploration stories when asked about them. Ordinary folk in every other way. Jed’s obituary is so well done and beautifully written that describes a very well lived life, full of friends and family, that I am compelled to share it with my family and friends. We should all be so lucky. God bless.

We are so saddened to hear of Jed’s passing. Over the years we were at so many gatherings with Jed and always enjoyed his company but most recently we had the pleasure to have him on our boat. Jed was grinning ear to ear while telling us several stories, we so enjoyed every minute, this memory will be cherished forever. He was such a kind, loving, and gentle man with a huge sense of humour.
He will be missed dearly by so many.
RIP Jed

My family ( Brea, Shem, Shayna, Shad, Kasey ) and I would like to send our condolences to not only Jed's family and friends on the Canadian side, but also to his many friends from the US. We, like all the rest, spent many many hours with Jed, Hank, Roger, Jerry, Brent, Paul, Paul, Jim, Pooch, Fred, and the list can go on and on. These hours were spent fishing and helping on projects on both Donald Lake and Deer Lake. Jed and Linda were our FAVORITES !!!! No one can be around Jed and not " enjoy the moments ". I firmly believe there is a party going on in Paradise - with the reunion of Jed and Linda along with Uncle Henry and Aunt Carol ! ( I know someone also snuck in some Crown Royal - probably Jerry ). May they all be keeping an eye on each and every one of us !!

I am sad to hear that Jed passed away. At least now he can be reunited with Lynda and have a smile on his face. We met Jed and Lynda when they purchased Honeymoon Island on Donald Lake and they were delightful neighbors and always fun to talk with. He was a top notch pilot and always helpful with flying information. His friends on Donald Lake will certainly miss him.

Sincere condolences to Jed’s family from his neighbors on Donald Lake. We very much enjoyed our visits and conversations with Jed. The last one was just two weeks ago and he was catching fish and enjoying the view from his cabin. As usual he spoke of his family and their visits to see him and his trips to see them. A very nice man who will be missed. Greg and Lisa

Diane, Pat, Clifford and familes; we were very saddened to hear that you have lost your dear brother Jed..or Uncle Quito as Lisa referred to him as. My last memory of him is Lisa's 50th birthday and riding out to camp with him in the boat taxi, he was cradling his KFC because as he said to me "everyone likes KFC"! I hope you all have many fond memories of your times spent together that will warm your hearts during difficult days ahead. He is reunited with his loved ones in paradise!
