I remember the time you told me about Tommy Prince. I was home on leave. I did my homework on Tommy after that and whenever I felt like quitting I thought of his braveness. You are always so kind to me. You've known me since I was a little boy. You can take it easy now rest in peace.

My old friend! Very sad to hear of your passing. Remember when we met in 1978, you from Sioux Narrows, me from Winnipeg and Brian Beaton from Peterborough? What a diverse crew we were. As we came from different directions, so we journeyed. But the time we spent working together, fishing together and as part of a circle of friends is unforgettable. For all the joy you brought to the world, may your journey continue in light and bliss. What a man!

So sorry for your loss as we just came across this news. We fished out of White Burch with Ellery for many years. He was not only a great guide but our friend. After fishing we always found time to play our guitars. He will be missed. Herb & Bill

Helen I am so sorry to hear of your brother's passing, will have to find you and give you a big hug. I remember when my friend Cathy was sick and dying, Ellery came to the hospital to visit her. He made her day, his smile lifted us all that day, I'm sure the two friends will be happy to meet again. Safe travels on your next journey Ellery.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Ellery's family and friends during this difficult time. Ellery was a wonderful person and fishing guide. He was always patient and considerate with everyone. He helped teach my boys how to fish. Very few could turn a shore lunch into a feast that many times would include deserts like OH Canada and Banana's Foster. We will cherish the memories Ellery helped make. Rest in peace.

Condolences to family in this difficult time. I guided with Ellery for many years since the 80's, he often talked about his Indigenous background and of the elders who gave him his Anishinaabe name.
Great memories I will cherish from a good friend.
