So sorry to hear of the loss of Darlene. I met Darlene awhile ago, just cannot remember if it was at the Kenora Recreation Centre Rotary Walking Track or somewhere else, but we always exchanged ``hello`` and had a short conversation in our future meetings. I remember her fondly and am sending my heartfelt condolences to her family and friends. She was a lovely lady! |

Ellie and Darren, I am so sad for the loss of your mom. I’m glad she’s at peace now and reunited with loved ones. I always enjoyed going to your house on Tetroe Rd for dinner as a kid. I also remember stopping by with my dad at Christmas time for a visit. Grandma Baker was always there. I felt a warmth and welcome from your mom, and dad, and there was always lots of laughing and smiles. Aunty Darlene will be missed. Sending my love. |

Ellen and Darren, I am so sorry about the loss of this amazing lady. Living beside you's on Tetroe Road for a "few years", carries many many memories of your family. The memory that comes to mind immediately , when I think, about your Mom, the birthday cakes, she made for you's when we were younger.... they were amazing, especially the butterfly. I hope your memories of your mom , will sustain you thru this time and for many years to come...... The memories , the love and laughter, hopefully ease the pain of this loss.... <3 |
