Our family did not know Bob personally, we also feel privileged to learn so much about the rich and varied long life he led; an inspiration and independent Canadian, whom we've heard many stories about life in Northern Ontario.

During this 2022 Canada Day Weekend, it's a precious time for family members able to gather to honour and celebrate Bob's life. We send our support and prayers to all, especially our dear friend Jan, along with Omiliano and Maia.

Our sincerest condolences to his family and close friends, especially Jan McMillin and Omiliano DeCaro, our dearest friends.

Bob was an excellent board member for William W Creighton Youth Services as he would come and join us at the youth center for informal drop ins at lunch time and I appreciated his service . I was sad to hear of his passing

My dear Joanne. Sorry to hear of your dads passing. While our paths only crossed infrequently the past 30 years or so, I always considered Bob a dear friend, all the way back to 1964 & that detachment in the basement of your home in Nestor Falls. For all who knew him, we cherish his memory.

Celine and family, Bob will be greatly missed. Ever the gentle man, he always had a smile for me no matter what we were discussing at the OPP committee meetings. Or when I saw him with you at coffee or at Mass, Celine. My deepest condolences to you all.

To Jan & Omiliano, and to all the family...Condolences on the loss of your father/father-in-law, grandfather, partner & friend, who by all accounts (his extensive, informed obituary and the many lovely messages written here) has lived a wonderful and diverse life, largely on his own terms. May many happy memories remain in your hearts to honour Bob's legacy of family, friendship and a life well-lived.

Joanne and family please accept my condolences now and into the future. I was saddened to hear of Bob's passing. Upon reading the obituary Bob had a very interesting and eclectic career and, it is clear why he enjoyed photography. I very much appreciated his friendly demeanor and his friendly hello's and brief conversations. The odd time, in a friendly manner, he would mention a few things that needed to be addressed within the City.
"When we lose someone we love, we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love they left behind." Our thoughts and prayers are with you now and into the future.

To Celine and family, and to Bob’s family

Ray and I were saddened to hear of Bob’s passing. What a nice man he was. Whenever I was out shopping and would bump into Bob, he always stopped to chat and always asked how Ray was doing. He was always upbeat and friendly. He was a nice man who will be missed. Condolences to the families.

It is a shock to hear of Bob's passing, he's been on my mind the last couple of months and really wanted to visit. Although I was exposed to photography in High School it was Bob who taught me to take my skills to another level. I owe my career in photography to Bob and did voice my appreciation to him, thank you very much Bob!

I was so saddened to learn of your Dads passing. We had many talks and laughs at New Horizons when he and Celine attended our lunches. They were there a short while ago - Bob was always so happy - we talked about the Danielson's - and he loved to tease. Please accept my deepest condolences. The wonderful memories you have will keep him with you forever.
