I have many fond memories of family gatherings in Morrisburg, Ottawa, Lake MacDonald and the Family Reunion in 2000. Bart was a kind and caring 'cousin-in-law'. He took a genuine interest in what was happening in the extended family. My thoughts are with you Nancy and family. |

I remember being a flower girl at your wedding Nancy. Bart was always enthusiastic in our communications when I was little. Sorry I didn't get more time to share with him as an adult. All my heartfelt warmth for the family at this time. Love, Carol Lewis (Cousin) |

Our deepest condolences to Nancy and family. We will always cherish our time spent together as your neighbours on Welcome, and the time Bart spent with us on our sailboat. We will continue to think of him often, as the wonderful photographs he took from that trip (in the frames he made) hang proudly in our cottage. May happy memories sustain you through difficult times. Hugs, Mark and Marlene |

I first met Bart as a member of the Amateur radio club where he was an instructor for persons studying for their license. We enjoyed many games of tennis over the years, ( Bart mostly won), and he was a leader in the Kenora Tennis group. He was always helpful with any projects, which he did with expertise. Condolences to the family of a dedicated community member who will be missed. |
