Brother Osborne was a great influence in my life. I still remember and quote his analogies and metaphors about life and our souls. I loved the man and thankful he was a part of my life.

The highest and most beautiful things in life are not to be heard about, nor read about, nor seen but, if one will, are to be lived. Brother Don lived a good life, hew was a good friend and neighbor. My family thought a lot of Don.

Brother Osborne was certainly a giant among men in this or any other area. It was certainly a great honor being associated with him. In regard to ministers, Brother Osborne was definitely one of the best. It is going to seem so strange that he is no longer with us. His passing will certainly leave a great big void in our community and at Athens Bible School. One thing is so true that he will be dearly missed by all. As the late and great Brother A. J. Rollings said so many times, May the Lord richly bless and keep this very fine family. In Christian LOVE!!!

Don was a wonderful person whose mere presence inspired those around him to strive to be better. He leaves a rich and vibrant legacy of hope with his family and the organizations he was a part of. Loving, caring, and thoughtful are just a few of the words that come to mind when thinking of Don. His unwavering faith in God and the way he lived his life enabled many of us to revisit and renew our relationship with Christ; truly, this was a man of God. Goodbye Don, I will miss you and I thank you for the friendship and mentoring you freely bestowed to me. In brotherly love.
