My condolences go out to the Stewart family and friends. God's word shows that it was not God's purpose for mankind to lose loved ones in death, since he has given us the desire to live forever. (Ecclesiastes 3:11) Jesus, while on earth promised that there will be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous. (John 5:28,29) Revelation 21:4 promises that there will be no more sorrow, sickness, nor death. jw.org has further comforting information about the condition of the dead and how we can see our loved ones again.
