So I learned of the Turtle Club as a child because my great grandmother and all of her children were Turtles. After we turned 21 we were finally asked the questions. Now my son is looking forward to the day that he becomes a Turtle too. I have met many over years and have confirmed that NASA has many pilots, astronauts and earth science staff that are part of our fine group! I was glad to find your website too!

The Turtles was started in World War II (1943) by some bomber pilots, they found out they can get discounts on their drinks if they were a fraternity. So they started this this fraternity concept. Then in the 70s & 80s the Masons & Eastern Stars started making Turtles once a year. That continued until 2009 when the honorable brother Samuel Thornton founded the WFOT and put up a website and opened chapters (ponds) all over the world. The chapters would have monthly meet&greets (turtle parties) where they would network, socialize and plan community service. Since 2009, we have donated over $70,000 worth of to various charitable causes. Now we have 20,000 members and 100 chapters around the world! We also mingle and network in our Facebook groups. I don’t want to be apart of no other organization. I’ve been rocking with WFOT for a couple of years. I couldn't ask for a better organization to be apart of...WFOT for life! Try them, you can’t go wrong. All the quirks are amazing as well. We have paraphernalia and earn amazing things. Oh, don’t we get together and travel too. How amazing is that?
