I was once of this Inn and had served MiKal. I shall remember the kindness of those days forever. During My own inner pain at the time.

Rest in Peace and Rest under the Moons.

I was devastated to hear about this after so many months... it's been a while since I was last online on b.com but I liked Mikal for His judgement, His courage, His love and affection and His loyalty. Goodbye My friend, You will be missed.

I had known MiKal for many, many years, and have always respected his strength and honor. It was with great sadness that I learned of his passing, though due to illness have only now been able to post here.

she`ry, mere words cannot convey My sympathy to you on this tragic loss.

Let the memory of MiKal's deeds and words stand for his memorial, a truer one than mere stones can be.

I have just heard the news of the passing of my long time friend, Wandering One. We spoke often together for so many years, back from the days when KiSS was our Home. I always enjoyed spending time to visit MiKaL and sherry and chatting for hours about all sorts of things in their own Home. You are both very close friends to me who i always appreciated.
I shall miss you Brother,
My thoughts are with you.
Always remembered

I first met MiKal years ago in Sanctuary of Voltai when I was a neophyte Master. The quiet witness of MiKal about the Gorean culture and watching his confidence and receiving his guidance helped me a lot. I was shocked at his passing. Ricardo

It is never easy to lose someone close to you in death. There is no right way, or wrong way to do so. Many of you have taken the time to show class and dignity to a man I considered a close friend. And many have taken the time to see to the well being of his loving devoted slave she`ry. Sometimes, the worst of events bring out the best in people, and I fully believe MiKaL would have been proud of that, proud of his girl, and proud of us all. It shows me at least that the legacy of MiKaL lives on in the sentiments of his passing, and the words to his slave. In the saddest of times, I am truely humbled to have been a part of his life, and proud of all for the words about him... and prouder still of she`ry.

I am glad I had the opportunity to know him

Codladh s¨¢mh, Mikal

If tears could build a stairway and memories were a lane We would walk right up to heaven And bring you back again. No farewell words were spoken No time to say goodbye You were gone before we knew it And only God knows why Our hearts still ache in sadness and secret tears still flow What it meant to lose you No one will ever know But now we know you want us To mourn for you no more To remember all the happy times Life still has much in store Since you'll never be forgotten We pledge to you today A cherished place within our heart Is where you'll always stay.

she`ry, sister, your Master whisked you away to His home for safekeeping, but not before both you and He made an indelible impression on stahr, memories she's carried through some of life's recent turmoils - memories that helped her to bear those hardships. While you and stahr did not often serve together, this girl always felt an especial kinship with you. Just as Master MiKaL is the type that stahr's heart calls, "Master" you are the type one's heart smiles, "sister". Remember, sis, He is not gone, He is just away. If ever you start to feel the loneliness we can feel when we forget that, please come to stahr so we can hug about memories of Him, and laugh, as He always encouraged. And when your shoulders droop or your head bows with the weight of knowing you cannot now see him with your eyes, well, close those eyes, lift your head in the pride He instilled in your, and feel him and see Him with your heart; He will be there for you, when you look. *hugs*
stahr{KiSS} wrote on January 10th, 2007
"Tell me, girl, what do you seek in a Master?" He asked of stahr (right after making sure her head and chin were properly lifted). And He listened, we talked. This girl went from terror (his grip was sudden and fierce, though not brutal) to awe. He invoked in one, feelings similar to those she felt with Kasbah's Owner, Who is stahr's Owner. Those initial feelings continued and expanded over time of knowing Him and His girl. That was 2000. It's now 2007. This one still quakes at that first memory, melding into the same gentle warmth the balance of that first talk invoked, building into what has become an indelible memory of an honorable Man; a Master. Master MiKaL, or, as she came to smilingly refer to you in private, Master Aragorn, you are truly missed by this girl; but she thanks you, for you are also, truly, remembered.

chara feels she missed out on meeting a Master of the Highest Quality ... she feels she would have been a better slave having known Him.

For the many friends MiKaL made throughout his years on Gor, the one year I got to know him might seem too little. But for this sole year He was able to show and teach me much more than what a Man should be, how to treat and cultivate your slave, how to live your life with honor and word. As He was for many, MiKaL was for me an example to be followed. He will never be forgotten. Despite knowing him for only one year, I claim the right to call him my Old Friend. Rest in peace, Old Friend.

star did not know Master MiKaL very well, but she did know Him for a long time, first as Master WanderingOne and then as Master MiKaL. He never came into KKI without a smile that warmed the hearts of A/all within. star was always pleased to see Him. she remembers conversations and knew Him has filled with Honor, Loyalty and Integrity as well as witty and caring. she remembers the kind and caring questions He asked and never knew a visit of His that didn't have some fun and wisdom imparted. Master MiKaL will be sorely missed by star. star's deepest sympathy and condolences go to she'ry along with a hug of comfort and shared grief.

Put a skip in your step now.
Dry a tear from your eye.
Turn around and wave goodbye.
Brave the currents of Time & Tide, until you're safe on the other side.
It's a wild dream that never ends, calls us all into the winds..."

I never got to really get to know MiKaL, but I have heard many good things about him. He is definitely one of the few Men on Gor who understand what it means to be Gorean yet did not bully others because he could. He used his wit and his intelligence, which can be mightier than the sword. I wish there were more like you to set the example to teach all of us to be good, noble and honorable Goreans. We all will miss you, but know that you will be with us always in our hearts. Blessings on you and yours.

Long ago a girl came to Sanctuary_of_Voltai, and was greeted and accepted by the most wonderful people a girl could ever meet online. The owner of the home smiled to me and said welcome. No questions were asked just acceptance. He taught this girl alot. At that time she was a FW. He taught ali alot she will always remember him with the warmest of memories. I lost my son in Oct. It hit ali hard. Then to loose a great man as Master MiKal was a double whammy. God bless You and keep You Master MiKal. Amberflame/Marta/ali will remember You always.

There is no doubt that with amber, all of online Gorearns that knew him, will miss him.

On November 19th, 2006, Master MiKaL passed away, leaving his legacy of truthfulness, honesty, integrity and loyalty to his friends and family. It is with these qualities in his girl's heart and mind, that she leaves this website, a view into our home, standing as a lasting memorial to Him, the one who taught her that love of life and love of friends and family is the most important thing in this world. He is now with God and the angels are tending to his needs. MiKaL was well known throughout the Gorean community and he has left his mark on all that knew him. His truthfulness was unmatched, his integrity was forever, his loyalty was true, his honesty was unlimited and the love he had for his girl and his family was endless. We shall miss you, my Master, and your girl will love you forever!

my Master, your girl misses you so very much. All she is she owes to you, you taught her the meaning of love, life, loyalty and integrity. You always told your girl, "whatever you endeavor, just do your best, that's what makes Me proud of you." Once, my Master, we traveled together, now your girl will travel with cherished memories of You in her heart and in her mind forever. You were this girl's first and only Master and in our 7 short years together, your girl's heart abounded with so much love and admiration for you and that will never change. Love you my Master, now and forever!
