Hello! Note that your "Contact Us" form in incorrectly linked and correspondence does not go through. Several years ago (4?...5?), I had reached out to you with the hopes of finding information on my ancestors, the Gibbs and Markell's (specifically Jesse Gibbs and his wife, Mary Jane Markell, who are my 4th great grandparents) I descend from their son, John Markell Gibbs and his wife Anna. Someone within your organization graciously reached out to me who was an expert on these family lines. Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to meet with him when I was passing through town and have long-since lost his name/contact info. I want to say his name may be Chuck??? Do you know who this could be and how I could again get in touch with him? I believe he said he lived about 10 minutes outside of Monongahela. I'm hoping to make another trip out there and spend more time doing some family research. Any help in connecting me with this gentleman would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! Monongahela is my home town. I would love to see photos for purchase (and suitable for hanging) on your website. Barge photos and aerial shots of the town would be wonderful. Thanks for all you do for the town. |
