I didn't hear about Ray's passing until Jill told me over the phone...she didn't have the heart to tell me online because of what my family's going through. Jill, I want to thank you for telling me gently, so that I could comprehend what happened. Ray was such a sweet man...I met him through Jill's groups. He always had a kind word for me, even when I wasn't in the best of moods, which was often. I didn't play his games often, but looked forward to seeing his emails because they were such fun to read. He had an enormous talent that he got to share with his online family, and for that we're blessed. Ray, please help my sister see that it's okay to go, and please see that she sees my father and sister. Enjoy your rest~you've earned it. I'm off for a cry and to look for a caffeine-free Pepsi to drink in his memory. God bless everyone, hug your families for me. Barb

RAY WAS A SWEET PERSON WHO CARED FOR EVERYONE AND WAS VERY HELPFUL WHEN YOU NEEDED HELP HE WAS THERE IF HE COULD , HE WAS VERY FRIENDLY TO TALK TO ALWAYS SENT GREAT STUFF THAT WE ALL LOVED AND HE ALWAYS OUT DONE HISSELF NO MATTER WHAT IT WAS HE WAS A AWESOME GUY TO KNOW AND BE FRIENDS WITH WE WILL MISS YOU BUT YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN OUR HEARTS ALWAYS AND FOREVER There are no words that can describe how much I feel for y'all . just know that you will be in my prayers. Well Ray my friend ... I will miss you terribly ... We had the best Pepsi Coke War ever !! lol ... Hope that there is a fountain of Pepsi that never runs dry just for you. I'll bring the Coke !! And I'll be wearing my Fire Fighter uniform just for you ... just have ta take it out of moth balls since I retired ! Love ya Buddy .... To Ray's family .... thank you for sharing Ray with us for all these years. I have belonged to the group for over a year and so thorougly enjoyed the friendly jabs at each other ... he made me laugh so very many times. As of 1:20 pm Tuesday, I have lived in Martinsville Indiana for 2 years now. Ray told me alot about Indiana including history, places to go and those answers to questions that I always seemed to have. Although we never had the chance to meet in person, I kind of felt that we did somehow because his personality and humor always poured out with every word that he typed. I will miss those words tremedously. Also , I want to thank you for sharing the 50th Wedding Anniversary movie with us .. I still haven't made it all the way thru it ... cause I can't see from the tears ( but they are happy tears cause the video is so beautifully done !! ) and that ever present lump in my throat. But I will in time for I have it saved. There are no words that can describe how much I feel for y'all ... just know that you will be in my prayers. With my deepest and most sincere sympathy .... Ray and Family, I only knew you for a couple weeks and what i knew of you were only happy,friendly memories of chatting about the webpage and a few emails i sent....thanks sooo much for making me smile and you will be truely missed by everyone! Ray my friend though I didnt know you for long you will be missed by all of us so here are 2 poems for you my friend. I was very lucky to have known you for the short time I did you have a positive influence on all of us hugs to you and your family my friend.. Now for the poems... The death of someone close to us leave us shocked with grief. We cannot understand how one minute this person was here and the next they are gone. The truth is that those we love are never truly gone. The body may have run its course, but the soul lives forever. Human beings have been cognizant of eternal life since the beginning of time. Every culture has its own traditions about death and reincarnation. The anxiety commonly felt about death in our culture is a result of a scientific schema which says that "if I don't see it, it's not there". To Ray: From time to time God brings someone into your life that brightens your days just by being there. You were one of those people for me. It was my great privilege to get to know you and an Honor to call you my friend. You will be so missed. To Rays family: What a sad time this is for all of us. What a wonderful person Ray was always so full of life. I first met Ray 8 yrs ago when we were on a list together he was one of those members that always had tme to help no matter how busy he was. 	To Ray's family, Ray was wonderful to alot of diffrent people, that he never meet, but after talking with him online. You knew he was a friend and had time for everyone, even for the little things.
